Everything you thought you wanted to know about Sarge.......
Born in San Francisco in 1969, moved to the Rose City in the same year and grew up in the Woodstock neighborhood of South East Portland.
Graduated from Cleveland High School in 1987, when our Prom was named after the Bon Jovi song “Never Say Goodbye.” Wow, Prom Night!!! That brings back memories, all dressed up and at dinner my date hits on the waiter. WHAT THE HELL!!! That’s a horrible memory. Maybe high school wasn’t so great, but we knew how to rock.
I started in radio in 1984 at KBOO and KBPS seeking fame and fortune or just to meet girls. Yeah that worked real well. Still, playing record beats working for a living.
After many years in fine cities like Eugene, Medford, Ft Wayne, Indiana and Denver Colorado someone was crazy enough to invite me home to Portland. Suckers!!! I’m now ready to Rock with 105-9 The Brew.
Outside of radio I’m a geek about NASCAR. ASK ME!! Love airplanes and even took flight lessons until the FAA got wind of it and decided I was not good for the friendly skies. What am I doing writing a bio for E- Harmony?
What do I hate more than reality TV:
· People who think the 80’s was only about George Michael and/or Culture Club. HELLO the 80’s ROCKED!!!
