Since Gene Simmons learned how to tweet from his assistant, he has been sending numerous tweets a day. His latest includes a back-and-forth with disgruntled KISS fan Vincent Junio, who told Simmons he thinks it's time for KISS to call it quits. Junio wrote, "Paul Stanley's voice is terrible. [You're] ruining the legacy." Simmons was quick to reply, saying, "10 million fans around the world disagree with you. You're alone."
Junio then told Simmons that he was a jerk for letting KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer sing "Shock Me," which was written and originally performed by Ace Frehley. "Do you have that much bitterness towards Ace? That's all Ace!" And Simmons said it was "no different than AC/DC and Van Halen. New singers sing the older songs. Relax. You're alone."
A 24-year-old man was driving his SUV in Jacksonville just after 3:00 A.M. on Friday morning . . . when he LOST CONTROL of the car. They haven't released the guy's name.
He missed a turn . . . drove over the curb . . . hit a mailbox . . . then some trees . . . and then CRASHED into the front of a HOUSE.
Apparently the guy wasn't wearing his seatbelt, which is usually where the story ENDS for people. But in this case, it didn't end as badly as it could have.
Because yeah, he WAS thrown from the SUV in the crash. But he wasn't seriously hurt . . . since he landed safely on the LIVING ROOM COUCH of the house he'd just crashed into.
