CRUISIN': A Titanic Replica Is Officially in the Works

Australian billionaire Clive Palmer is having an exact Titanic replica made by a Chinese ship manufacturer.

Over 40,000 people have already expressed interest in taking a trip along the same exact route from Southampton, England, to New York City, which was taken by the Titanic in 1912, with some guests willing to pay as much as $1 million to ride on the first trip.

Once construction is finished, the Titanic II will accommodate 2,400 guests.

The ship is scheduled to sail in 2016.
