GAME OF THRONES IS COING BACK THIS WEEKEND!!!!! (By the way, yes, I read the books.) 

For all the people who said they don't like Star Trek because "it's too boring," I give you the new "Star Trek: Everything in the Universe Explodes and Then Some Blond Girl Strips Down to Her Underware the Movie" trailer. I can understand why people may not have liked the old Star Trek: Next Generation episodes because there was way too much pondering and not nearly enough fiery, burning death. But the second of JJ Abrams Star Trek movies not only gets my fists pumping for the latest exploits of the USS Enterprise, it also makes me exremely hopeful for JJ's take on the new Star Wars movies. Pretty sure this flick is going to spawn a whole new generation of Trekkies. 

If you've ever seen the cover of Pink Floyd's "Animals" album, this place probably looks familiar to you. It's the Battersea Power Station. It's been vacant since 1983. To encourage tourism, they're talking about building this massive rollercoaster as a way to explore the place. Cross your fingers and hope they do!

I think it's safe to say we're not getting our hoverboards. Despite the 2015 Back to the Future Part II showed us, it's 2013 and we can't even make a non-hovering replica of the hoverboard correctly.
