Remember being blown away by how cool games like Adventure and Combat and Pitfall were on the Atari. Nowadays those games would be sub-par even as games for babies. This is what video games look like now. Sure, this is a promotional video, not in-game play. But there were a couple of time where I had to look closer to makes sure they weren't using actual actors. Another couple of years and live actors will be completely unnecessary. Looks like I know what I will be wasting money on next. 

Schadenfreude- (n) German word describing the pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others. 

Example- "Scahdenfreude is what you will feel while watching a Canadian singer, who didn't have enough time to learn the American national anthem, butchering it in front of a few thousand hockey fans in Portland."

So painful. So, delightfully painful.

A little teaser of the music from Star Trek: Into Darkness opening this weekend. Michael Giacchino is one of my favorite composers with great scores for LOST, The Incredibles and the first JJ Abrams Star Trek movie. I'm not super sold on the vocal track, but I'm glad they other two themes from the first movie carried through to this one. Check it out.
