Vicky Cornell Sues Chris Cornell's Doctor

In a lawsuit filed on Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Vicky Cornell is suing Dr. Robert Koblin over malpractice, stating he is to blame for Chris Cornell's death.

Chris Cornell has a history of addiction and substance abuse and was prescribed both Ativan and Oxycodone. Both drugs are known for their extremely addictive properties. In the lawsuit obtained by CNN, it was stated that Chris Cornell had not gone to physically see his doctor in almost two years, but had been prescribed Ativan (a drug used to treat anxiety) during the last 20 months of his life.

"Yet, at no time during this period did Dr. Koblin conduct a medical examination of Mr. Cornell, perform any laboratory studies, obtain an interim history or do any type of clinical assessment of Mr. Cornell," the suit claims.
